CEO
Paul commenced as inaugural CEO of TasWaste South in April 2023. A qualified lawyer, he has over 18 years’ experience working in local government at the city of Hobart in legal and governance roles.
Paul was also the state President of Local Government Professionals Tasmania.
This skill set has positioned Paul as the ideal person to lead the establishment and set-up of TasWaste South.
Tegan
Lovell
WASTE PROGRAM MANAGER
Tegan began with TasWaste South in June 2024 as the Waste Program Manager. Tegan has a degree in science and diploma in project management and brings a decade's worth of project management experience ranging from development and delivery of multimillion-dollar irrigation projects to design, construction and delivery of international defence, emergency rescue and specialised recovery vessels. Tegan is also experienced in safety and quality management systems and auditing, event management and has vast stakeholder management experience. With a background in the agricultural sector Tegan has a good understanding of food production and the challenges associated with food waste. Tegan has a keen interest in sustainability and love of the environment with a longstanding irritation of plastic production and waste due to the lasting impact of these products on ecosystems locally and globally.
