Annual Report 2023/24

In November 2024 we released our second Annual Report, documenting the significant strides we have made in our first full year of operation, including:

  • Reporting on Establishment tasks for the business ;

  • Our 2024-2027 strategic plan;

  • Our re-naming and rebrand;

  • Review of our performance of goals and objectives as planned for 2022/2023;

  • Our plans for our focus in the 2024/25 financial year.

Annual Report 2022/23

In November 2023 we released our inaugural Annual Report. While this Annual Report is for the 2022-2023 financial year, TasWaste South* only commenced operating from late April 2023.  Some of our achievements in those first few months of operating include:

  • Establishment tasks for the business completed;

  • The Board meeting regularly with a sound routine;

  • Commencing the Strategic Planning process;

  • Briefing member councils in workshops.

    *TasWaste South was known as the Southern Tasmania Regional Waste Authority in our initial operating period.
