Local Government Forum August 2024

We recently held our Local Government Forum with representatives from our member councils.

Veronica Schilling provided us with an update on the launch of Dulverton Waste Management's new Organic Treatment Facility and the roll-out of FOGO collection in the North West.

We heard from the Tasmanian Audit Office about their upcoming performance audit on landfill management and Andrew Terhorst from CSIRO spoke about transitioning to a circular economy.

It was a really valuable opportunity to connect and also learn from the experience of others.
